METHOD TO RECOVER SOIL AND GROUND CONTAMINATED WITH OIL AND OIL PRODUCT Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC B09C1/10 C12N1/26 

FIELD: environment protection and biotechnology, particularly soil and ground cleaning of oil and oil products.

SUBSTANCE: method involves applying oil-oxidizing microorganisms included in oil-destructing bacterial compound, sorbent and combined fertilizer in contaminated soil; moistening and loosening soil. Contaminated soil is spread over horizontal plate so that contaminated soil layer has 30-50 cm thickness. Mixture including clean soil and sand taken in soil/sand proportion of (4:1)-(5:1) is added to provide oil content in soil of 5-15% by weight. The sorbent is applied to provide (1:10)-(1:100) sorbent/soil proportion. The sorbent is based on sunflower seed shells. The oil-destructing bacterial compound is added in compound/soil proportion of (1:100)-(1:1000). The combined fertilizer is combined nitrogen-phosphor-potassium one taken in amount of 2-4 g/kg and micro-fertilizer in amount of 6-10 mg/kg.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of soil cleaning, decreased harm to ecosystem, elimination of additional microorganism and chemical agent usage to accelerate microbiological sorbent destruction.
