FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for neutralizing oil-contaminated soils, in which hydrolysed lignin stored as waste for at least five years is added to the soil as a structurizer and at the same time as a source of oil-oxidizing microorganisms, processed to activate native microorganisms by mixing it with a complex mineral fertilizer, moistening the mixture to a moisture content of 60 to 85% and aged for 3 to 12 weeks with periodic stirring and aeration. After activation, the mixture of lignin with fertilizer is mixed with 90-95% by weight of oil-contaminated soil with an oil product content of no more than 15% and the resulting mixture is placed in heaps, which are periodically turned, maintaining the humidity at the specified level.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the process of neutralizing oil pollution carried out without the use of ready-made biological products, accelerating this process and partially solving the problem of utilization of hydrolytic lignin.
