FIELD: recycling of waste tires.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, solid tires are heated thermally in low oxygen content medium at temperature of 675-900 K with simultaneous separation and getting of metal cord, volatile substances and powder-lump black-containing material with subsequent removal and burning out of volatile substances with generation of heat. Heating is carried out through container walls without direct contact with heating elements and heating medium with reduction of oxygen concentration from 21% at beginning to 0.5-4.5% at end of heating and decomposition of tires at periodical jarring. Device is furnished with container with recycling chamber in metal housing provided with ceiling charge-discharge hatch, bottom with bottom hatch to discharge powder-lump black-containing material. Moreover, device includes systems of heating, removal and burning out of volatile substances, charging of solid tires and discharge of metal cord and unloading and discharge of powder-lump black-containing material. At least one branch pipe to remove volatile substances is made in ceiling hatch, being connected to system for removal and burning out of volatile substances. Bottom of recycling chamber is furnished with lock for hermetic connection to system of unloading and discharge of powder-lump black-containing material. Bottom and housing of recycling chamber are connected to periodically vibrojarring plant.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of power for recycling of tires, possibility to get solid powder-lump material with high content of black and reduced to minimum pollution of environment.
