FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail vehicle brakes. According to invention, to change pressure in brake main line, pressure of compressed delivered into brake cylinders of vehicle is controlled by acting onto equalizing piston of air distributor. Said action is provided by choosing value of travel of duty shaft, lengths and rigidity of corresponding duty springs so that linear dependence is realized in service braking area Pbc=Pn.bc+k▵Pbc where Pbc is pressure in brake cylinder, Pn.bc is pressure in said cylinder at 0.6 kgf/cm2 , ▵Pbc is braking stage, k is linearily coefficient depending on rigidity of springs. Brake system consists of standby reservoir and one or several brake cylinders, air distributor and pressure relay. Air distributor consists of master and mainline parts secured on two-chamber reservoir containing load-duty selector with L-shaped shaft. Eccentric of shaft of load-duty selector is made in form of L-shaped part rounded off from two sides acting onto stop by smaller spring chosen according to length and rigidity under mean and loaded duty conditions.
EFFECT: reduced spread of specific braking forces of loaded and empty cars, provision of smooth and effective braking of train, prevention of spontaneous (uncontrolled) mixing of duties.
