FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for lifting, propping, wedging or shifting loads, particularly, jack can be used for lifting and holding automobile. Proposed jack contains elastic inner load-bearing envelope reinforced by crossing layers of cord and connected with source of working agent, and cover layer. Sealing chamber of jack is rectangular, being made of rubber blank, and is connected with source of working agent. Load-bearings skeleton consists of two crossing layers of rubberized cord cut out at angle of 45° and is reinforced at corners with rubberized cord strips cut out at angle of 0°. Cover layer is made of rubber.
EFFECT: improved reliability, increased load capacity, reduced mass, improved manufacturability and convenience in operation under any conditions owing to compact design of device.
