SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for assay of protective effect of capsule cover for the strain Bifidobacterium adolescentis MC42 against effect of the stomach content. For this aim, five solid gelatin capsules containing barium sulfate and covered by a protective envelope are administrated orally in a health mature monkey male of species rhesus macaque or Javanese macaque in combination with one capsule containing the bacterial strain and covered by a protective envelope to be analyzed. The strain growth is determined in the first feces portion after administration of capsules. The absence of optimal protective effect of capsule cover for the strain against effect of the stomach content is proved in case of the absence of the strain growth and in appearance of barium sulfate "circuit" from capsules decomposed in stomach, or in case the absence of decomposition of capsules in intestine. The presence of the optimal protective effect of capsule cover for the strain against effect of the stomach content is proved in the presence of the strain growth and in appearance of barium sulfate "circuit" from capsules decomposed in intestine only. Method allows providing the information content in assay of protective effect of capsule cover for the strain based on in vivo model under conditions adequate to the presence of capsule into human body.
