FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes steel of the following composition, wt.-% carbon, 0.2-0.4; silicon, 0.2-0.4; manganese, 0.3-0.5; chrome, 0.3-0.5; aluminum, 0.1-0.15; yttrium, 0.1-0.3; copper, 1.5-2.5; barium, 0.008-0.012, and iron, the balance. Invention provides enhancing strength and ductility of steel. Proposed steel is used in automobile manufacture.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of steel.
