FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gas-turbine engine contains turbocompressor with compressor provided with rotor installed on supports and compressor stator, combustion chamber whose output is connected with turbine by means of gas duct, turbine is provided with rotor installed on supports and at least electric machines built into turbocompressor. Electric motor is built into compressor, and electric generator into turbine. Turbine is of free design. Electric generator is connected with electric motor by power cable. Rotor of compressor and rotor of turbine are installed in supports on active magnetic bearings which are protected at both sides by magnetic seals. Radial shift pickups mounted in supports are connected to control unit. Electromagnetic of active magnetic bearings are connected to electric generator through control unit.
EFFECT: increased power rating of electric machines, economy and reliability of engine.
