FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: gas turbine engine comprises turbo compressor containing compressor and combustion chamber with an outlet connected via a gas duct with the turbine and not less than two electric machines, built into the turbo compressor. The electric engine is built into the compressor while an electric generator is built in the turbine. The turbine is made loose. Via a power cable the electric generator is connected to the electric motor. Windings of the electric motor are performed on the compressor stator. Electric motor permanent magnet system is fastened on the working blades of the compressor. Electric generator permanent magnet system is secured to working blades of the turbine. Windings of the electric motor and electric generator are enclosed into cases whereto air cooling system is connected.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of a gas turbine engine.
