FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: turboprop gas turbine engine comprises turbo compressor with compressor, combustion chamber with its outlet communicating with the turbine and, at least, two electrical machines built in the turbo compressor. The motor is built in the compressor while the electric generator is built in the free turbine. The electric generator is connected via a power cable with the motor, its winding being wired on the compressor stator. The system of permanent magnets of motor is fixed to the compressor impeller. The electric generator windings are fixed on the turbine stator. The system of permanent magnets of electric generator is fixed on the turbine blades. The windings of motor and electric generator are arranged in the casing whereto the air cooling system is brought to. The turbo compressor inlet accommodates an air screw fitted on the shaft shared with the additional motor connected, via and additional power cable, with the electric generator.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
