FIELD: power engineering; turbine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at designing and modernization of steam turbines with two-housing cylinder with outer and inner housings and supply of steam for cooling of rotor. Proposed cylinder of steam turbine includes outer and inner housings, flow paths of high and medium pressure, front end seal with chambers and device to supply cooling steam into space between disk of first stage and front end high-pressure seal. Partition with slotted pipeline is installed in first chamber in direction of flow of sealing steam, pipeline being connected with screen arranged in interhousing space of cylinder on inner housing. Screen communicates with chamber of intermediate stage of flow path through branch pipes, and inside screen guide partitions are made. Moreover, screen is installed on outer housing of cylinder. Proposed invention improves reliability and maneuverability of cylinder and steam turbine owing to reduction of heat stresses of high-temperature sections of cylinder housings. Moreover, heat economy of cylinder and turbine as a whole is increased owing to use of cooling steam for cooling of cylinder housing delivered to rotor and getting into seal and return of part of said steam into flow path of turbine and exclusion of steam extraction after fifth stage for cooling of cylinder housings and delivery of steam into seal.
EFFECT: improved reliability and maneuverability of cylinder and turbine.
