FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: double flow cylinder of a steam turbine plant comprises an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder, a rotor with disks and blades of a steam path of direct and reverse flows, a pipeline for the supply of cooling steam to the turbine. Casings with rotor shaft seals are installed in the inner cylinder. Partitions are mounted in the space between the disks of the first stages of the direct and reverse flows, by their end faces they are connected to the surface of the inner cylinder and the seal housings, form two annular chambers limited by the surfaces of the inner cylinder, seals housings and partitions as well as side surfaces of the first stage disks. Each of the annular chambers is connected to the chamber for the supply of steam to the first stage blade through an axial gap between the disk of the first stage of the flow adjoining the said chamber and the end face surface of the inner cylinder. The annular chambers are connected to each other via a radial gap between the rotor shaft and the seal strips.
EFFECT: efficient cooling of the central rotor part at the minimal consumption of steam, prevention of unproductive steam flows resulting in an improved reliability and efficiency of a cylinder, longer service life of a rotor.
