FIELD: pipeline construction.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises forming trench bottom, making auxiliary trench from the surface level down to a level of the trench bottom, and mounting a section of the pipeline on bearings along the extension of the working section of the trench and auxiliary trench. The device comprises base tractor provided with a mounted member made of a frame rotating in the vertical plane and bounded with an endless cutting belt that cuts soil mass into soil blocks acceptable to be transported.
EFFECT: simplified laying of pipeline.
