FIELD: biotechnology, possible use for estimating changes of qualitative characteristics of tillage, primarily humus type, during cropping.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, alienable yield is accounted and after harvesting, biological characteristics of fertility in samples of arable layer soil are researched, including total content of microorganisms of microbe cenosis ∑Xmi, content of humus and detritus Xhd, biomass of microorganisms and vegetative remainders Xbv, nitrification ability Xn and fermentative activity Xai. Further, degree to which soil is plowed out is computed according to formula B=k0[K1∑Xmi+K2Xhd+K3Xbv+K4Xn+K5∑Xai-375,5], where K0-K5 - empiric coefficients: K0=(1,5...2,1), K1=(0,85...1,25), K2=(0,2...0,3), K3=(0,2...0,9), K4=(0,7...0,8), K5=(0,4...0,8), and the quality of soil is estimated in numerical scale from one to fifteen, where: B=0-3 points indicates non-plowed soils, B=3-5 points indicates mildly plowed soils, B=5-10 points indicates averagely plowed soils, and B=10-15 points indicates substantially plowed soils.

EFFECT: increased precision when estimating condition of soil and efficiency of land utilization.
