FIELD: radio electronics; protecting pieces of equipment against electromagnetic radiation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electromagnetic wave absorber is essentially reticular textile warp with linen weave of two pairs of identical flexible cylindrical elements in each aperture. Each cylindrical element has electricity conducting microdipoles radially diverging therefrom. Change-over to new frequency band is attained by varying pitch of weave, size of reticular warp apertures, distance between dipoles, and length of the latter.
EFFECT: ability of producing stable three-dimensional structure equally protecting pieces of equipment at their any disposition in space, improved matching and radio characteristics.
