FIELD: protective devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for protection against electromagnetic radiation. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the device is made in the form of a cellular base formed by cords 1 made of dielectric material attached to each other, absorbing elements are wound on the cords in the form of spirals made of ferromagnetic microwires in glass insulation; the length of each coil of each spiral is from 1 to 1.5 λ, where λ is minimum length of incident electromagnetic wave of operating frequency range of electromagnetic action.
EFFECT: possibility of effective absorption of energy of the incident EMW in a wide operating frequency range without limitation of its value.
