FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing central end of injured deep flexor tendon on palm at the level of fiddle muscle, removing injure distal tendon ends, suturing free tendon transplant to the central deep flexor end, attaching distal transplant end to nail phalanx with removable transosseous suture. Sliver is formed in deep flexor muscle tendon through which central end of free tendon transplant end is introduced. The transplant end is sutured to central end of deep flexor muscle tendon with unremovable sutures. Their junction place is covered with neighboring fiddle muscle sutured to the deep flexor muscle also with unremovable sutures.
EFFECT: retained anatomical relations between the deep flexor muscle tendon and fiddle muscle; preserved fiddle muscle function; avoided cicatrix formation.
