FIELD: automotive industry; seat belts.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains seat belt 2 with end piece 4, belt tensioner 1, buckle 5 and limiter 3 to adjust tension of seat belt 2. said limiter 3 has upper and lower housings 325, 326, respectively. Belt input and output are found on two side surfaces of housing. Upper and lower rollers are made at both sides of seat belt 2 inside housings. Lower roller movably engages with two supports of lower roller which are arranged on bottom surface of lower housing. Clamping bushing is rigidly secured around lower roller on its central section. Electromagnets are installed on top of supports of lower roller, ratchet wheel is installed on lower roller, pawl of ratchet meshing with ratchet wheel and spring connected to pawl are installed inside shelf of lower housing 326. Clamping bushing is rigidly secured around upper roller on its central section. Upper roller is installed for movable engagement with two supports of upper roller which are arranged, accordingly, inside two guide rails of upper housing 325. Springs are installed between upper housing 325 and two supports of upper roller, accordingly. Ratchet wheel is installed on upper roller, and ratchet pawl engaging with ratchet wheel and spring connected to pawl are installed inside shelf in upper housing.

EFFECT: provision of riding comfort for passenger.
