FIELD: inorganic substances technologies.
SUBSTANCE: field of invention is technology of purifying inert gases of gaseous impurities. Initial gas mixture is fed to sorption unit comprising porous nano-disperse carbon to perform temperature-caused adsorption of hydrogen isotopes accompanied by removal of helium from sorption unit. Temperature in sorption unit is maintained at 77-80K. After removal of helium, temperature in sorption unit is raised to room value to desorb hydrogen isotopes while preliminarily having connected sorption unit to hydrogen isotopes-collecting container. The container may incorporate hydride-forming sorbent or it may be connected to sorption unit containing the latter.
EFFECT: increased helium purification degree and enabled simultaneous recovery of tritium.
