FIELD: oil and gas industry, particularly to provide wireless communication in boreholes.
SUBSTANCE: underwater system comprises addressable borehole units and tools installed on sea bottom. Borehole units may be communicated with bottom tools via wireless communication means, for instance through reservoir. To determine reservoir characteristics wireless electric communication is provided between electric tools located in underwater borehole and electric tools located on sea bottom or spaced short distance therefrom through reservoir. To investigate reservoir section characteristics wireless electrical communication is provided between electric tools arranged on sea bottom or spaced short distance therefrom through sea water. Wireless communication is also established between electric tools located on floating craft surface.
EFFECT: provision of wireless communication between equipment during oil production via underground and underwater boreholes and increased information content.
