SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanics, in particular, to devices for oil filling of crankcase cavities of motor and tractor engines, and can be used during their maintenance and repair. Refining funnel for automotive engines consists of refining funnel with grid and a tube connected tightly to the bottom part of the funnel body, according to the invention, the free end of the tube is made with the formation of a thread for attaching a tip thereto, configured to adjust the capacity of the funnel in accordance with the throughput capacity of the mesh filter of the oil filler neck, wherein said tip is made in the form of barrel with lengthwise slots interacting with tube end and with thread on the side of its inner surface, by means of which it is screwed on the tube. Besides, nut is screwed on the tube to interact with its end surface with the cup. Tube is made with formation of stiffness rib in form of wedge arranged in vertical plane above said tube so that its rib formed by working surfaces on side of angle is aligned with side surface of tube, and on side of its free end, and end surface of wedge is combined with funnel body lateral surface.

EFFECT: invention ensures adjustment of the funnel capacity to a level not exceeding the capacity of the oil filler neck filter, as well as fast and reliable connection of the funnel to the oil filler neck.
