FIELD: invention refers to measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: sensitive element of electrochemical sensor of hydrogen in gaseous mixtures is fulfilled in shape of tablet out of solid electrolyte with working electrode on basis of platinum or palladium put on its surface and with electrode of comparison on basis of silver. In quality of electrolyte they use stabilized solid solution of dioxide of zirconium or cerium. Electrode of comparison is put on surface of electrolyte in shape of paste out of oxide of silver. Working electrode is put on surface of electrolyte in shape of fine-dispersed powder out of platinum or palladium. Both electrodes are soldered and working electrode is activated.

EFFECT: invention ensures increase of quick-action, expansion of interval of temperatures and measured concentrations of hydrogen excluding influence of accompanying gases CO2, CO, H2O, O2, provision of prolonged and uninterrupted regime of work.
