FIELD: gas analysis.

SUBSTANCE: used to determine the concentration of products of incomplete fuel combustion (incomplete combustion) in the exhaust gases of thermal units. The sensor contains a test tube (1) made of an oxygen-conducting solid electrolyte, inside of which there is a reference electrode (2), and on the outer surface of the tube there are three measuring electrodes with a slip coating, while the reference electrode and the measuring electrode (3) are made of a material of Ag composition, the measuring electrode (4) is made of material of Pt composition, the measuring electrode (5) is made of a material of La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 (10%) + ZnO (90%) composition, while the electrodes are connected in pairs to the corresponding voltmeters as follows: to determine the concentration oxygen in the analyzed gas - a pair of “measuring electrode (3) - reference electrode (2)”, to determine the concentration of carbon monoxide, hydrogen and methane - a pair of “measuring electrode (4) - measuring electrode (5)”.

EFFECT: determining the concentration of oxygen in the analyzed gas, as well as the content of products of incomplete combustion of fuel in the exhaust gases of thermal units, such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen monoxide, and methane.
