FIELD: high-voltage current-limiting fuses.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cartridge holder for high-voltage fuse designed for use in power systems rated at 7.2 to 40.5 kV has contact bus mounted on supporting plate and assembled of two clamping members in the form of cartridge-holding contact lugs and designed for cartridge removal; U-shaped clamp that functions as support for spring-loaded plate and for locking device in the form of throw-over lever to prevent cartridge escape from holder on occurrence of short circuit. Spring-loaded plate is joined with U-shaped clamp and provides for regulating pressure of two clamping members on contacting area of cartridge and clamping members by means of locking device.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of cartridge holding in position on occurrence of short circuits and overloads; reduced size without impairing performance characteristics.
