FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: chuck consists of case with a working cone surface, tail piece and at least one secured in the case clamp member, made in the form of a collet with an external or internal working cone surface designed to interact with a corresponding working cone surface, and movement mechanism, initiating collet guides movement. To increase reliability due to higher accuracy of device centering the case is made compound and consists of the case and a tail piece, located in the case coaxial to its surface and to an end and is located relative to the middle part of the case from the side of the end of the case, the working cone surface is located on the tail piece inside or outside from the side of its end, while collet movement guides are made as surfaces on the case and the tail piece.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the chuck due to higher accuracy of centering of the device.
