FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: multi-stage bearing block consists of at least two tandem bearing assemblies (1), each of which consists of roller bearing (2) installed on inner and in outer races (3) and (4), and flexible and retainer rings (5) and (6). At that, rings (5) and (6) are installed near races (3) and (4) and located near each race (3) and (4) at least from one of race edges and made as a whole with similar or different stiffness for various bearing assemblies. As per the second version, rings (5) and (6) are made in multi-stage bearing block as an integral part of races (3) and (4) in the form of their elements and are located on each race at least from one of its edges. Races (3) and (4) are L-shaped and/or U-shaped in radial section and are installed in each assembly (1) relative to each other thus forming a cavity for bearing (2). At that, axial sizes of races (3) and (4) are made so that protrusion or sinking of their mated edges relative to each other in assembly (1) does not exceed 0.01 mm.
EFFECT: increasing life time of bearing block owing to required distribution of load between roller bearings.
