FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic actuator includes first magnetic circuit that moves a movable pole core and a static pole core towards each other, and second magnetic circuit separated from the first magnetic circuit and having a permanent magnet and a clamping bar. Switching-off coil counteracts magnetic field in the second magnetic circuit, as a result of which the actuator is capable to return to OFF state. In actuator's axial direction said switching-off coil is located closer to the clamping bar rather than the permanent magnet.
EFFECT: reduction of cost and simplification of manufacturing as well as provision of the possibility of more effective performance of the actuator.
