FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an on-load tap changer, in particular to an on-load tap changer drive with a permanent magnet. On-load tap changer drive with a permanent magnet includes a switching center circuit. Switching center circuit includes an odd-branch switching circuit and even-branch switching circuit that are identical in design. Switching circuits include operating contactors, transition contactors and current-limiting resistors between two types of contactors. Working and transient contactors correspond to the movable contactor. Movable contactors are connected in parallel to each other. Permanent magnets are fixed one-to-one on movable contactors. Ends of the permanent magnets are located opposite the drive mechanism of the movable contactor.
EFFECT: technical result is getting rid of the need for a high-speed mechanism, increasing the operation speed, reliability and service life.
