FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: composition of xenon and oxygen in ratio 60 : 40, or 70 : 30, or 80 : 20, is used for treatment of fetoplacental insufficiency. The treatment is performed as follows: at the beginning, 100% oxygen is delivered for 5-10 min into the half-closed breathing circuit. Then, the breathing circuit is closed and the composition of xenon and oxygen is delivered into it. The ratio of xenon and oxygen is 60 : 40 in compensated chronic fetoplacental insufficiency; 70 : 30 in subcompensated; and 80 : 20 - in repeated procedures in view of lack of significant effect of treatment. Inhalation is performed within 2-10 min. Further, the xenon delivery is stopped and the oxygen concentration is increased in the inhaled composition up to 100% within 5-8 min. 2-3 procedures are performed in all, with 5-10 days break.
EFFECT: method provides normalization of fetoplacental blood supply, pregnancy prolongation till optimal term and reduced complications in delivery and post-delivery period.
