FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: application of human erythropoietin alpha or betta, or its conjugate, for preparation of the therapeutic agent for treatment of iron maldistribution in heart diseases, the corresponding method of treatment and the therapeutic agent are invented. The improved iron maldistribution is demonstrated with use of indexes: C-reactive protein, ferritin and soluble transferrin receptor, in patients with ischemic heart disease, atherosclerosis, coronary atherosclerosis, acute coronary syndrome, and heart failure caused by recormon.
EFFECT: iron distribution is improved in heart diseases.
