FIELD: mechanic.
SUBSTANCE: the device can be used for grain exfoliation and also for electro-magnetic processing of grains to increase their germinative power. In the body of the device, the axis of a roller is located in the bearings. Between the roller and bearings ends, elastic elements are located, designed as cylindrical screw springs, rigidly attached to the bearings and the roller. The roller is made as a rotor of an arc-stator asynchronous motor with windings, and the deck is designed as the motor stator with windings. The short-circuited rotor winding is designed as a "squirrel-cage" structure with longitudinal rods installed at an angle to its axis. The deck carrier may be rotated on the hinge by screws, thus adjusting the gap between the deck and the roller depending on the treated grain type. The size of the gap between the deck and the roller can be changed with the deck attachment screws. The motor is controlled by a control unit. The device has simple design and allows, besides, exfoliation, to treat grain with electromagnetic field before sowing to increase the germinative power of the grain.
EFFECT: provides possibility to select optimal parameters and expands scope of device application.
