FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to dust collecting in a centrifugal field, and can be implemented in chemistry, oil and chemistry, metallurgy, mining, building and other sectors of industry, as well as in environment protecting process of furnace gas and emission cleaning. A cyclone comprises case with a cylinder drum assembled along the axis of the case and capable of a free rotating, with blades assembled on inside surface of the drum; the cyclone also comprises cylinder attached to the lower portion of the drum. The blades are made along the total height of the drum as a screw spiral. The blades are also assembled on the exterior surface of the drum in its upper portion at the level of gas supply into a case uniformly along circumference. The cylinder is fabricated out of a wide meshed net of a diameter 0.92-0.96 of the diameter of the cylinder portion of a case.
EFFECT: increase of the level of cleaning of dust-laden gas due to increased efficiency of trapping small particles in a ring gap between a drum and a case.
