FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises cart which is placed into a reservoir through an aperture and is allowed to move around the reservoir, with at least one fluid outlet nozzle, sucking fluid out of reservoir, device sucking off part of sediments and pump connected thereto. The pump is installed into a fluid contour which is matched with a heat aggregate and/or a dozing device, regulating pH values of fluid. A glove-box is located above the aperture, through which the cart as an integral module can be placed into the reservoir and withdrawn out of it by means of a cable hose, at that the fluid circulating pump in the fluid contour is located in sediments, accumulated on the bottom of the reservoir. A method is characterized with features representing in fact the description of this design operation.

EFFECT: contaminated or radioactive sediment extraction of specified concentration as well as sediment extraction out of a reservoir with an aperture in its end portion are provided.
