SUBSTANCE: invention relates to accelerated fermentation in fermentation apparatus used in production of, for example, beer and to tank mixer for production of drinks, food products and medicine. Fermentation tank (2) has at least one cone (2a) and connection flange (4). Proposed method comprises the steps that follow. a) Circulating pump (30) is used to suck via first circulation pipeline (40) the fermented material from tank (2). b) Then, circulating material is fed by circulating pump (30) via second circulation pipeline (50) into mixer (10) built in tank cone (2a) at the height (L) of 350-1800 mm from bottom edge of connection flange (4) to bottom edge of mixer (10). c) Flow is forced upward and through mixer (10) outlet (18) so that improved convective flow inside said tank (2) maintains the yeast cells as-suspended for longer time interval. This invention relates also to appropriate device.
EFFECT: electric power saving, efficient maintenance of convective flow inside fermentation apparatus, better mixing.
