FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: strip contains the central layer obtained from fusion on the basis of aluminium in the burnt state and at least one alloy clad layer produced on the basis of copper in its burnt condition. To increase the quality of strips with a fine plated layer (4-6% of thickness of the main layer) by means of eradicating chinks in the clad layer to preclude aluminium from streaming into them when they are obtained by the cogging process, the relationship of durability limits between the main layer and the plated one equals to 0.7 - 2.0.
EFFECT: increases in the quality and durability of strips.
