FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: mixture of vapours and gases from uncovering of bertrandite-phenacite-fluorite concentrate with sulphuric acid containing SiF4 and HF is transferred to trapping. Absorption is performed in two-step absorber chain with closed-loop reflux system till concentration of free hydrogen fluoride in hydrofluosilicic acid reaches 1÷3%. Hydrofluoric acid, concentration not less than 25%, is used as absorbent.
EFFECT: invention allows to obtain hydrofluosilicic acid containing less silica and to improve purification of fluorine - containing gases.
