SUBSTANCE: lithium secondary battery includes cathode (C), anode (A), separator and electrolyte. Bulk ratio (A/C) of anodic active material (A) to cathodic active material (C) per unit area of each electrode is in the range from 0.44 to 0.70 and demonstrates limit charge voltage between 4.35 V and 4.6 V. Particles diameter of cathodic material is between 5 mcm and 30 mcm. High-voltage lithium secondary battery meets of capacity balance requirement due to adjustment of bulk ratio (A/C) of anodic active material (A) to cathodic active material (C) per unit area of each electrode.
EFFECT: increased full capacity and mean voltage of battery discharge, improved battery safety in recharge, long durability.
