FIELD: electrochemical devices, mainly secondary lithium batteries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed battery has its electrode made of electrode suspension incorporating (a) active electrode material capable for lithium intercalation/deintercalation and (b) lithium ion conductive inorganic particles; these inorganic particles conducting lithium ions have lithium elements; they do not accumulate lithium ions but transfer them.
EFFECT: enhanced in-service safety of battery without impairing its characteristics.
