FIELD: machine building; column-type apparatus.
SUBSTANCE: extraction column consists of nozzle 1, upper settling chamber 2 with drain pocket 5, lower settling chamber 3, inlet pipelines to supply the heavy phase 6 to nozzle 1 from above and light phase 7 from below, and light phase outlet pipeline 9 and heavy phase outlet pipeline 8 to discharge the phases. Ratio between diameter of the lower settling chamber 3 and diameter of the nozzle 1 is chosen as a ratio of (1.3-1.7):1. Diameter of upper settling chamber 2 and diameter of nozzle 1 is chosen as a ratio of (1.1-1.2):1. Drainage of the light phase to drain pocket 5 is performed by a ring overflow. Depth of drain pocket 5 equals to the height of upper settling chamber 2, while width of its ring cross-section equals to 100-500 mm.
EFFECT: reduction of steel consumption; enhancing of the final product quality; reduction of extraction agents loss.
