SUBSTANCE: method of preparation of high purity lithium carbonate comprises bicarbonization of lithium carbonate water solution with carbon dioxide, filtration of lithium bicarbonate solution, its sorption purification, decarbonization, separation of lithium carbonate, its rinsing with hot water and drying; at that the decarbonization process is carried out using microwave radiation.
EFFECT: product wastage in the decarbonization process decreases, the process efficiency increases.
