FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: missile warfare method comprises launch of a missile, its entry to a predetermined area and its descent. After having been descended, the missile is splashed down using a shield effect on inflatable ballonets arranged under the missile body and is submerged until its visible parts are concealed. Then the missile is kept by means of an anchor with cable in standby mode awaiting target or launched straight to a target while maintaining the missile at the "water-air" interface. After having detected the target in standby mode, the missile is changed over to surface condition and accelerated afloat by its engine, then taken off the water using said shield effect. Its homing head acquires the target and the missile is directed to the target and then hits it.
EFFECT: providing high operational security of the missile and improving its target destruction probability.
