METHOD OF ACTIVE OXYGEN CONTENT DETECTION ACCOMPANYING Helicobacter pylori INFECTION Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC G01N33/50 C12Q1/02

Abstract RU 2325653 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: pure culture Helicobacter pylori is cultivated at 36.5-37.5°C under microaerophilic conditions on agar Columbia added with horse blood. After 48-120 hours of clump cultivation bacillary and coccal forms proportion is determined within culture of different age. As coccal flora reaches 69-74% of proportion culture is taken off. Suspension of optical density 2.0 is made in NaCl solution, 400 mcl of 0.85% NaCl solution, 10-3 M of luminole, 0.71 M NADPH and 500 mcl of bacterial suspension are added. Luminole-dependant chemiluminescence of suspension HP is measured at integration time 10 s. Results are registrated during 15.5-16.3 minutes, at the beginning of the third minute of background level registration 5 mM of urea is added and active oxygen release is detected.

EFFECT: improvement of total active oxygen detection accuracy accompanying mentioned infection.
