FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: leukocytes (Lk), lymphocytes (LPh), immunoglobulins of M class (IGm), circulating immune complex (CIC) and leukocyte phagocytic index (LPI) contents in patient's blood are detected to evaluate preventive effect of millimeter ranged microwaves before preventive effect at elective surgery and on 3rd and 7th day after surgery. Preventive effect of millimeter ranged microwaves is performed in presternum area at wave length 7.1 mm, single exposure 2.5 minutes during 3-6 days daily. Immune protection coefficient (IPC) is estimated by formula: early (K3) and prolonged (K7) preventive effect coefficients are estimated by formulas: . Value of K3 over 0.35 indicates early preventive effect; value of K7 over 0.23 indicates prolonged preventive effect.

EFFECT: method application allows to increase accuracy and information value of preventive evaluation of postoperative complications of immune state.
