FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for imaging distant objects, which has a first scanner, is designed for scanning radiation from the object. The device also consists of input polarizer, divider, designed for conversion of the light input into two light beams with orthogonal polarisation, modulator in the form of polarizer rotating about an optical axis, and photo-recorder. The device also contains temporal filter and second scanner, designed for successive three-dimensional imaging of the object, and first and synchronisation units. The first scanner is located on an optical axis in front of the input polarizer. The divider is located on an optical axis between the input polarizer and the modulator, after which there is the photo-recorder. The photo-recorder is connected to the temporal filter, which is connected to the second scanner. The first synchronisation unit is connected to the first scanner and the second scanner. The second synchronisation unit is connected to the modulator and temporal filter.
EFFECT: increased signal to noise ratio.
