SUBSTANCE: said invention relates to sound-reproducing equipment. Suggested speaker assembly and method to direct sound waves imply the presence of base-mounted shaper, which comprises a non-stationary diaphragm for sound waves forming. In front of the shaper diaphragm, a reflecting device for reflection of shaper-generated sound waves is installed. The diaphragm travels at a non-zero acute angle to horizontal plane or outer reference plane, which serves as a base for the speaker assembly.
