FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of loose materials by pressure, in particular to presses intended for compaction of loose materials, i.e. from powders to granular materials. The press incorporates two rolls arranged in one plane and forced to counter rotation by means of drives. Here, note that the ends of both rolls accommodate an individual motor drive. One of the said rolls is a free roll leans compliantly against the force creation means. The rolling stand, if installed vertically, is made up of two separate parts, i.e. the upper and the lower one. The upper part carries the free roll and leans against the lower part with the other roll via the rotary support and can be swung out and locked.
EFFECT: lower costs of mounting and dismantling the press.
