FIELD: security.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to means of increasing safety in civil aircraft, in particular for foiling aircraft hijacking. The device is installed on the seats of the aircraft. The cabin of the aeroplane is equipped with an overview camera. On both side-frames of the seat, made from insulating material, over the lap of the passenger there are cavities. In the cavity of one of the side-frames, there is a piece of flexible steel rope of a give length, one end of which is rigidly fixed inside the cavity and joined to contact points. The other end has a ferromagnetic current conducting element tied to it and is freely brought into the seat through an opening in the side-frame. Opposite the ferromagnetic element an electromagnet is rigidly fixed into the cavity of the other side-frame, while on the side directed to the seat of the given side-frame there is a contact plate, joined to the other through a contact point. Both contact points are joined to one, while the actuator coil of the electromagnet is joined to the other pair of contacts, of the corresponding given seat. The contacts are installed on a special control panel in the cabin with indication of the seat number and connected respectively to the sources of the varied and given electrical signals.
EFFECT: increased safety in civil aeroplanes.
