FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the method of manufacturing fluoroplastic, which can be used for making protective coating for metallic and/or any type of decorative surface, for preservation of metallic surfaces of components without further depreservation and as a component part of antifriction additives, including engine oil of automobiles. The method lies in that, the pseudo-boiling bed, in which the fluoroplastic is put, is heated up to 480-540°C. Simultaneously through the layer of fluoroplastic, a stream of inert gas is passed, heated up to 400-500°C. The inert gas used is denser than atmospheric air. As a result, the fluoroplastic is turned into a fine-dispersed phase due to its evaporation. Later, the fluoroplastic particles are gradually cooled down to temperature between 150°C and 20°C. The fluoroplastic particles are then collected and the desired product is obtained.
EFFECT: improved anti-friction properties and increased output of the product.
