Substance of invention includes method of down-regulation (inhibition) of neoplastic cell proliferation transformed as a result of oncogene activation, by effective amount of inhibitor of sphingosinkinase functional activity and by increasing regulation (activation) of cell proliferation by means of processing with agent activating sphingosinkinase carcinogenic activity. Besides, invention refers to neoplasia diagnostics method.
