FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: antigen has a sequence encoded by the nucleic acid of SEQ ID NO: 1, and the composition comprises an effective amount of an antibody binding to the said antigen. This invention also discloses a method for diagnostics of these cancers, comprising detection or determination of the amount of antigen in a biological sample taken from a patient. In this case, the increased amount of this antigen in comparison with a patient who does not have the said tumour or cancer indicates the presence of the said tumour or cancer. The invention also discloses a kit for detection of the expression of the said antigen in a biological sample of a patient.
EFFECT: invention, through the detection of this antigen in a number of cancers, makes it possible to discover new methods for their treatment and diagnosis.
